MEET THE TEAM

Durgesh Singh (DK)

From interpreting reserve forests & biospheres, to photographing, reporting new findings in the wild, Durgesh aka DK has been working as a Naturalist & Tour Leader over nearly two decades.

His adventures have been across South Africa, Bhutan, India including Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Panna, Satpura, Jawai, Chambal, Tadoba, Bharatpur, Ranthambore, Kaziranga, Ladakh, Kabini, Eravikulam, Periyar and Chitwan in Nepal.

Trained by Taj Safaris (a JV between IHCL and &Beyond South Africa), he was the Head Naturalist for Banjaar Tola, Kanha before he led numerous tours and expeditions for World Wildlife Journeys, Nature Trek UK and NatGeo Expeditions.

A BTech. (IT), keen foodie, and collector of books, he has had an early stint as a software engineer with Satyam Computers. Love for wildlife & travel prevailed as he turned entrepreneur with Sinali Experiences.

Sunny Saxena

Working in large metros, Sunny never thought of making his home in the wilderness of Kanha. But after working crazy hours in the world of IT for nearly two decades, it took a small push, a few twists and turns to leave all that and head out on this wanderlust journey teaming up with his childhood buddy who had been bitten by the wild adventure bug a bit earlier.

Before starting Sinali, Sunny had spent a majority of his time building New York based Customer Experience Company, Sprinklr's MVP and then went on to build its Infrastructure and Operations team. An avid gamer, you can often catch him talking at length and obsessing over storylines and characters.

When asked if his move was premediated, he simply says that it happened like his mentor once said. "It's all written in the stars." That his star sighting trips in his 4X4 would be best experienced at Kanha, now seems like an epiphany as he builds out this new venture with Durgesh.

Anand Sinha

Anand started at the Wildlife Institute of India tracking collared tigers in Ranthambore and then moved onto being a game ranger for four years in Southern Africa.

He trained at Bhejane Nature Training in Kwazulu Natal, and worked at Manyoni Private Game Reserve. After a couple of years back in India working across premier lodges, he turned entrepreneur with Overland Expeditions India.

This is when he decided to join the Sinali team and come back to what he calls the most fascinating landscape - the heart of India's Tigerland, Kanha.

Sujith

Sujith began his wildlife journey at Wildlife SOS's Sloth Bear Rescue Centre in Bangalore, where he managed the facility and participated in numerous rescue and radio collaring projects. A self-taught naturalist with a keen interest in spiders, he is known for his night walks in search of arachnids and hidden forest life. After spending six years as a naturalist in Kabini; the Land of the Leopard; Sujith now brings his passion for wildlife and field knowledge to Kanha National Park.

Ibrahim

Ibrahim grew up immersed in Kanha National Park's wilderness, inspired by his family's long legacy of safaris. Following his father's footsteps, he became a nature guide and trained naturalist. Ibrahim honed his skills under the expert guidance of the Nature Guides Academy and the Sinali Naturalist Training Programme, earning recognition for his tiger tracking abilities and for guiding guests and photographers through Kanha's wild heart.

Ravi

Ravi has over 8 years of experience documenting the flora and fauna of Chhattisgarh and other Indian states, collaborating with ZSI, NCF, and BNHS. He conducted Chhattisgarh's first comprehensive bird survey and submitted the official report with Bird Count India. With over 80 research papers published on the region's biodiversity, he came to Kanha to deepen his field research in one of India's most influential conservation landscapes.

Aabhas

Aabhas started volunteering at Indore Zoo and soon found his passion in the outdoors. Trained as a naturalist by Taj Safaris, he loves driving through the forest, guiding people, and sharing stories from the wild. Kanha remains his favourite place to be.

Dharmoo

Dharmoo was among the first participants of the Naturalist Training Program conducted by Sinali Experiences at the property's early stages, aimed at empowering local residents and guides. He joined with a strong eagerness to learn and quickly impressed everyone with his deep knowledge of local flora and exceptional tracking abilities. Immediately after completing the course, Dharmoo became a valued tracker and guide, and he continues to amaze us with his skills and dedication.
